It uses the linear curve for predictable braking which is achievable with Shimano’s engineering and sleek design. The BR-R7000 brake caliper is compatible with both carbon and non-carbon brake pads. The Shimano BR R7010-RS Brake Caliper is intended to mount under the frame near the Bottom Bracket and is compatible with wider tires up to 28C. It needs an Inline cable adjuster (SM-CB90) for cable adjusting and quick-release features.
